Force

Force is what happens when a structure’s capacity is expressed through the Field.

Mass describes what a structure can make real. Direction describes where that capacity is applied. Force is the consequence produced when the two meet.

A company may possess capital, technology and distribution. Those are forms of Mass. If that capacity is directed into a new market, the expansion, disruption or failure that follows is Force.

The same applies to a person, institution or civilisation.

The effect depends on the Mass involved, the Direction taken and the structure of the Field it encounters.

Force is not the same as effort, intention or posture.

Someone can exert enormous effort while producing little consequence. Another structure may act once from a position of high Mass and materially alter what follows.

Force is revealed by what actually changes.

It can strengthen, redirect, destabilise or collapse existing structure. Its significance depends on how much of the Field is altered and what possibilities follow.

The practical question is simple:

What consequence was actually produced when this structure acted?

That is Force.
