Collapse

The realisation of one future through accumulated structural constraint.

Collapse is the point at which possibility becomes actuality.

Before an outcome occurs, multiple futures may remain possible. Existing structure, position, interaction and prior consequence continuously change the weight of those possibilities.

Some futures become more likely. Others become harder to realise.

Collapse occurs when one possibility becomes real.

A company may face several strategic paths. A person may have several viable decisions. A market or civilisation may hold multiple possible trajectories.

Those possibilities are not equally weighted.

As constraints accumulate, the Field narrows until one outcome is realised.

Collapse is therefore not random selection from equal possibilities.

It is the resolution of a weighted Field.

The realised outcome then becomes part of Reality and reshapes what can happen next.

Collapse is not final.

Every consequence creates new structure, and from that structure a new Probability Field emerges.

The practical question is simple:

Which possibilities are closing, and what outcome is becoming real?

That is Collapse.
